My name is Sienna and I arrived to FOA back in February of 2017 as a stray. I was absolutely terrified, very skinny and nervous upon arrival, but boy my personality sure blossomed after only a short time of being with FOA. I am a sweetheart who likes to make it known to everyone that I am here and I want attention! I am a 2-3 year old American Pit-bull Terrier/ Lab mix who adores everyone here at FOA, but I would love to have a family I can call my own. I do well with other dogs, but I do like all the attention and tend to get a little jealous when other dogs are around so a meet and greet with your current dog(s) is required before adoption to make sure we are a good fit. I would definitely not be a couch potato! I love to explore and go for walks or runs. I wasnt a very good walker when I first arrived, but since the staff and volunteers at FOA started using a gentle leader on me, I have become a fantastic walker! I could use some more training and consistency, but I would make a very loyal companion especially for someone who is as active as me! I love everyone I meet and just want to be loved in return. No one knows what my past was like, but I know I sure am ready for the next chapter. I am house-trained and i don't chew things up when left alone. I am an extremely good listener. I do however need to find a home with no small animals. I don't do well with cats or small dogs due to my strong prey drive. I would probably be a great hunting partner though!! I would also do best in a home with no small children due to my energy level. I like all the attention!! I am already spayed, micro-chipped, de-wormed, lymes and heart-worm tested and UTD on all vaccines.
Sienna's adoption fee is $450 + tax. ($200 of her adoption fee goes towards continued training with R&R Professional Dog Training).
All adoption's are subject to approval.
All animals are current on their vaccination based on their age and time at the shelter. Some animals may require boosters. Please note: MN state law requires rabies vaccinations be given by a licensed veterinary. Because FOA does not have a full time vet on staff, some animals may not have had their rabies shots.
